    I picked this up recently but as yet I haven’t been able to firmly ID it. I am assuming it is British rather than American. Can my fellow forum collectors give me any further information please?

    The dimensions are 40cm tall and 12cm diameter. Here is a close up of the legend on the side.

    I can’t find my copy of “firing now” by dick Taylor but if I do I am sure this will be in that book

    I think this maybe aircraft bomb related. Searching No28 certainly comes up with tails and fuzes for bombs

    That's interesting JB, it isn't a large tube. Not the sort of thing that usually survives.
