Article about: I've never seen these small launchers before, so I have no idea if they were of German origin. Anybody know? Cheers, Kevin

    Indeed German! It's the 7,3 cm Propagandawerfer 41, a propaganda rocket launcher. The ammunition it fired looked a lot like small Nebelwerfer rockets.

    Hello,
    Here is a photo of one:
    German rocket launchers?
    After it is fired the bakelite nose cone detaches at around 100-150m in the air and releases 200 leaflets using a coiled spring.

    I found one rocket, near Colmar(Alsace), so in 1944-45 fights.

    Now I'm wondering if these little devices are related. They look like miniature bombs. Perhaps propaganda carriers as well? I have no idea.
