    Default Mystery ammunition?

Hello! Could anyone help me indentify this mystery projectile?

I believe its an AP ammunition, its diameter is 40mm and lenght is about 117mm.

It has no markings whatsoever, my wild guess is that it could be an British 2 pounder (40mm) anti-tank projectile??

It came with an German 4cm Flak 28 shell case, but the seller also mentioned that it is not probably German origin.

All help would be appreciated! Thanks!

It looks like my British AP 2 pounder round, with a slight difference in the placement of the drive band. Mine is a closer to the rear of the round, I’m surprised there are no markings.

No mine has the hole for the tracer, and is marked on the base and the drive band.

Looks to me like 2 Pdr Solid shot.
Which doesn't mean it has to be AP
It's most likely a training round although they were generally flattened to reduce range and penetration
