    Could u tell me what kind of weapon fired these rounds? tank or anti-tank etc.

    i know what shot this ammo but still don't know what the ecc means

    This was fired from the British 25 pounder field gun.

    Ordnance QF 25 pounder - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    "ECC" is the maker of the shell case, but I do not know who they were.

    that was my problem to.
    i found enough info about the shells etc. but could trace the ecc headstamp.
    the only thing i found was a site which could tell me but the pages where missing :s

    E.C.C has been identified as E.Curran & Co from cardiff..
    i would like to add that E.C.C has also been described as Elswick Cartridge Company,this is likely to be a misinterpretation of the more commonly found EOC stamp for Elswick Ordnance Company
