    Nice badge Mo there still appears to be traces of silver in and around the oak leaves and at a very very reasonable price I might add .

    Are you sure it's silver Mo, it looks like bronze to me - or is it the photos?

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    Unfortunately, this is a reproduction. Aurich never used the ball hinge.

    Unfortunately this is the most common & easily recognised PKA fake. Hermann Aurich never used a ball hinge on their PKA awards. This variant of fake originates from the U.K,as far as i'm aware. If you do a search i'm sure you'll find some pics of what i mean. Originals have a crimped hinge. If you can return it & get a refund. Stewy
