I do not have an example to post for you to compare.
The only one I have with this thin pin, is the broad maker marked variant.

Just looked like there were remnants of bronze wash on the reverse. But can't tell from the photos.

Photos are tricky. In hand is best. So if you think it's silver then it probably is.
