    Default 28th December 1944

Around 65 years ago, Germany made a last attempt at giving the allies a decisive Blow.....In attempt to at least split the alliance. This Document is for a member of the 11th Panzer Div. Herbert won the Close Combat Clasp this Day. He Also got wounded and spent the rest of the war recovering from his wounds. Which most likely saved him the fate the rest of this unit faced. Document Signed by Major Carl Thieme.

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
