This "ausweis" which is also a special daily permit was used at the end of the war in what the Germans where trying to do, already starting in 1943, to conceal some of their crimes committed during the war, by now they knew was lost.What is amazing is that it was still issued at about 11 days before the war ended.Here the holder was assigned to exhume bodies and have them burnt at the small crematorium located at the Theresienstadt Ghetto. I ma having problems in identifying the SS officer who signed it.
