The insurance price is normally related to the cost to replace the insured items.
Therefore assuming you know how much you bought them for originally then this is the replacement cost if you had to go and buy them again unless you think they have increased in value significantly since you bought them?
If your shippers lost the documents then your insurance company will want to see your original sales invoice or a professional valuers report before paying out, they will not just take your word for market value without supporting paperwork for the insured items. Hope this helps
