Here is a comparison of a fake tab from a thread dedicated to fake ss tabs. It matches the originally posted tab IMO.

Note the differences in the embroidery; how thin the lines are, etc. etc.

If you took the buckram off, I'd expect your back to look identical to this example, which is a reproduction.

Your welcome. However, the front is a dead giveaway, and I wouldn't suggest removing the buckram even on a fake.

Looks like the photo with the red text on the back is from a Unterscharfuhrer whom is in a US POW camp to a GI. Maybe they got friendly with eachother.

I stick by my original statement. The tab without the runes is a rank tab for the rank of SS-Schutze and someone added a scull patch to "spice" it up.

Ok well thank you for your information. Im not really sure what to do with them so ill prob just keep them around.
