Hello, I was on another forum recently and saw this older post and would like to share it, it seems during the war, when writing loved ones, the way you placed he stamp on a postcard or a letter could have a 'Secret' meaning.. My German translator is not the best, but I have added possible meanings to the text under the stamps, I have added a few backs of some postcards from Arbeitsmann to their girlfriends / wives (?) that may fit this scenario.. Thanks for looking.. G

    Interesting!!
I have heard on several occasions about the hidden meanings of the "unconventional" way of affixing postage stamps to letter envelopes or postcards.
But until this moment I had never seen a "visual dictionary" of those hidden messages.
It is very, very interesting. Excellent idea.

That adds a new dimension to postcards I had also not been aware of before. Thanks for an enlightening post.
