Interesting that you would buy these if you don't speak German , are you intending to get them translated ?

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Call me biased, but what's the betting Viktor is an Officer?
But who ever he is and the others for that matter, nice pick ups - especially if they were given to you.
Can anyone kindly give it a shot to translate these? in part at least?
Thanks in advance
I guess this lot is not worth a part translation?
Sorry for posting
Well, i think there worth a shot. I've read a few lines of the Feldpostbrief dated 25.X.1942. It says he is one week away from home and doing well. He is in Holland and is part of the Brigade Hermann Göring. To me this is interesting enough to try and translate it. My German is not the best but it is OK. When I get home tonight will try to read the rest of the letter, but it may take a while.
