A Very "soft strike", but it has a chance, although a slim one. Unfortunately, the Litzmannstadt Ghetto coins have been "restruck" Countless times and in many different metals and are likely Still being made to this day. Some are sold as replicas and some are made to sell pretending to be real. The original coins were made in Aluminum and in Magnesium and came in 5,10 and 20 Marks, along with some very rare Pattern coins of 5 and 10 Pfennig from 1942. The "restrikes and fakes" are, unfortunately, very difficult-if not almost impossible- to differentiate from the originals. Personally, I have never purchased Any of the ghetto coin series for this very reason. A person almost has to have a hand to hand history of each coin to be sure of it's origin.

I agree.
Well explained by William above - indeed, these are a very tricky area...with the vast majority being reproduction.
This particular coin is a fake made by casting. It is not a big problem to recognize fake coins from orginal, but it is better not to buy, if you are unsure.
