    Hello Shane.

I can't help with originality, but it looks like a blank swimming certificate from the Deutscher Reichsbund für Leibesübungen (DRL) = German League of the Reich for Physical Exercise.

I have also moved your thread to the German documents section of the forum.

    Kind regards,

I am heading back to my grandfathers saturday to gather things and take more pictures. If you all are interested in any particular thing from the ww2 era or third reich please me know or anything I should be on the lookout for I just came across a stamp collection dating back to the early early 1900s b ut majority of this items he collected and sold as an antique dealer was from western germany and mainly during ww2. So if anything specifically draws any interest to you from then please feel free to let me know and I will try to put these items to the side and take good pictures for you of them. The collection has been growing since he was 15 years old he passed at 82 so bare with me as this will take me months and months to sort thru and identify. I appreciate all the help and if you know of someone tjat I could go to for authenticating and appraisals on some of these higher end items id be very thankful for being pointed in the right direction so I have just the slightest dollar amount on some of these items. I dont want to get rid of these things for pennies on the dollar as I know this stuff held great sentimental value to him. But I do not have space for these items especially when there are 100s of thousands of them. Thanks again everyone if I can help you with your collection in any way let me know. I want them to go to people that enjoyed collecting them as he did.

Take your time, take clear, close photos of things in natural light, not direct sunlight or flash and post them up.
The members here are vastly experienced and will offer the best advice on the items you have.
I don't know how the collection is stored but if the items are in cases or drawers for example, perhaps take a few home with you to photograph in your own time instead of going for the scatter gun option.
Price is subjective so values aren't given but if you were to sell anything, you would get a better deal selling to a collector directly rather than to a dealer who may well offer lower than market value because they also have to make a profit.

Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
