The first document is addressed to the wife of Franz Josef Pleikner, stating that she already should have been informed about the death of her husband by the administrative office of his division. It contains the usual phrases like "soldierly fullfilment of duties faithful to his oath of allegiance, his Führer, nation and fatherland." She is allowed to keep his enclosed Wehrpass as personal property.
The second document tells her that the death notice of Franz Pleikner was received by the appropriate civil registry office (Standesamt) and that they will issue the certificate of death.

Looks like I have his complete album then, from when he was training in '40 all the way to '44 shortly before he was killed. I got just under 500 pictures. Most are mundane, but I'll post the more interesting ones come this weekend.
