Thanks a lot, this is very interesting! SS Pol division was an obvious one, but nonetheless good to see the regiment. What is more interesting is the one from the KM. Actually i think that this is a very rare unit stationed at Kirishi (river unit deep in Russia). However, new info doesn't confirm it yet.

Managed to read the place of burial of Huemer - Irsa (near Kirishi), so my guess was correct. A rare Kirishi flotilla casualty. Thanks again for the info!

That is amazing mate! There were 2 Tigers disabled that day **I think**, I flicked through Tigers in the Mud to that date and it reads like 2 were, but it may have just been one. If he was in a Tiger, then it’s most likely when they were both disabled.
Really appreciate the Ancestry record mate, just saved it to my PC.
