It would a question for any of the Russian speakers in the forum as to whether it is possible to find archive material relating to which soviet unit carried out the sortie (it must be out there somewhere).

Was not sure whether to post him here or not. Karl Grabner succumbed in 1942, but was clearly a veteran of an earlier conflict.
