    Hello, we have all seen a 'Negative' before, scan or download the negative and open with paint, click on the 'Select' function and the 'Select All', click anywhere on the negative and a menu should pop up, click on 'Invert Color', save and crop as you like. G

    It's a useful way to get a better look at the image and decide if you want to get it professionally reprinted.

    You can do the same thing also in MS Paint by;

    open in paint,
    select "image" on the toolbar,
    select "invert colours" from drop down

    Just another way to do the same thing if your version of MS Paint looks different on the tool bar (as mine does).
