Jakob Kuchar is post 08.05.1945 cannot be granted as official recipient.
Hence why he is one of the more impossible autographs to find.
the proposal from his unit arrived on 11.04.1945 at HPA (Heeres-Personalamt).
The official in charge, Major Domaschk, advocated on 12.04.1945.
The HPA-VV (proposal for awarding) was made on 19.04.1945, Nr. 5085. Forwarded the same date.
In addition to it no references for processing or even for the bestowal in the archives.
There is also rumors that Günther Wifling passed away in 2018, date unknown. Maybe paul may be able to assist

First addition for 2019 - Henri Fenet. He was an interesting fellow. 33. Waffen-Grenadier-Division der SS "Charlemagne." His unit participated in the Battle of Berlin and the defense of the Führerbunker and was among the last of the Axis forces to surrender.
EDIT: I'm not sure why the photo uploaded sideways and I'm uncertain as to how to fix it.

A very nice photo of Fenet ! As i recall there are only 3 known wartime photos of him this being the usual one he signed.
His Hauptsturmführer award photo with deceleration which is very dark and poorly contrasted is the rarest of the 3.
Very nice start to the year Salocin!

The number is dwindling rapidly , interesting that someone from one of the Third Reichs most prominent familes , Von Ribbontrop has turned out to be the last waffen SS RKT.
The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )
1st July 1916
Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

To see these men pass is truly sad. I’m glad to see so many people here who will preserve their memories, stories, and accomplishments.
