A new arrival- 7 Letters written by a young SS Grenadier...I have yet to read them all thoroughly, but it appears that he was killed on March 6th 1945 - a mere 60 days after being conscripted in January...The envelopes themselves are all nicely marked as well...

There was only Gustav Vollstedt whose date of death was listed as March 1945, no rank listed. He lies in the cemetery in Rees Haldern, near Wesel. Not 100% sure this is him though. I'm unable to search for a casualty card but I'm sure Willmore can oblige if one exists.

I had a look and could find no casualty card or information about him unfortunately.
