translation of German writing please?

Hi everyone!

Can any of the German handwriting experts decipher / understand what has been written here?
It is a piece of parachute silk and an accompanying card . I (think) I can see the word 'Fallschirmjager' or is it my imagination?

Appreciate any help you can give fellas.

I can decipher "Fallschirmseide" in the top photo, meaning "Parachute Silk"...
Bottom photo I can only decipher "Erinnerung an meine..." In memory of my..."
Hopefully someone can do better than me...!
