Unit history
Hi
I am trying to track down some history relating to the following units:
1 komp Res Grenadier Batailon 437
and
Artillery regiment 189.
I am trying to find out where these units were based and in which areas they were active.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Many thanks
Martyn

Re: Unit history
Many thanks Paul
That is really useful - I could not find anything.
Do you know anything about the 1 komp Res Grenadier Batailon 437? This is also very illusive.
All the best

Re: Unit history
Thanks guys
That's been really helpful and interesting. This unit is in a soldbuch which was originally attributed to a guy who was supposed to be in Caen. He ended up working for a British work company after the war.
All the best
