    Not that I am aware. The ball is associated with artillery

    Hello MAP, thanks for your help ,I have some links where I see Gendarmerie with ball,for example this for Ratisbon,for this my question.

    I have this one too,with letters FJ1 it is a older helmet,

    and this link have FJ1 in frontal and in the cockade the eagle wich helmet will have in the future.
