Not my area of collecting or study, however it would appear to be an Imperial example. I haven’t seen that particular emblem on those that I’ve encountered. Hopefully someone with a little more knowledge on these will be along shortly with some information.
Imperial? With the lions?
Essentially, the style and construction and comparison with other period examples. Not sure about the meaning of the lions head but some will know.
To be honest, while it is the same shape and style, it is not a military Picklehaube so not really something that most members here would focus on.
Quite different than WW2 era Civil police, flak and firefighter helmets that were essentially absorbed into the NSDAP hierarchy.
