Here is a nice one. Unissued and mint condition. Not an easy one to find.

Dated 1916, Size 57 and made by Gustav Rohrlent Berlin.

I have it in a hat stretcher now so it should go back into shape soon. Most of these that I see have a similar shape

In my title I neglected to note that this is a Garde example. Giving it that little extra bit of rarity. I will edit to include.

Note the wide wing spread of the eagle on the wappen. Late examples like these one have not been observed with the added Star on the Wappen, typical of Garde helmets
