    Unusual find here... POW Card from Lt Janusz Salinger POW #878, who was in Oflag X C Lubeck, germany. Lt Salinger is writing to his Aunt in Switzerland asking that She would write a letter to His Wife and His Father, to make them feel better, as they recently found out that Lt Stanislaw Salinger was murdered in Katyn. Dated 3/3 1943 so right after germans discovered the graves.

    Lt Salinger has AM number 1753, so He was identified fairly early... They found the following on Him: ID Tag, Immunization record, notebook, and a communist badge ?? (this is according to the book by Adam Moszynski ).

    Here is a postcard dated 5 August 1939 written by Colonel Zdzislaw Dziadulski to Capt. Dabrowski in Jurata, Poland. Jurata was a Holiday resort for Polish Officers. Col Dziadulski writes that because of his new duties He will not be able to come on Vacation where he had a reserved room.

    Colonel Dziadulski was wounded twice during the Polish russian War. Won a VM and a KW x 4.
    Colonel Dzadulski was a famous equestrian jumper who represented Poland in the 1924 Olympics in Paris.
