my father was i believe with the polish army. I found old photographs of him in uniform.
He grew up in Wylow, Przeclaw area. Not sure which part of army he was probably infantry.

Sorry for the delay. Wish I could help but not my area of expertise. Hopefully someone will be around to provide you with some advice. If not, give it another "bump" in a few days.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

I believe 1936 to 1950 ish.. said he joined when he was 16 or so .last he was with the Polish Military Guard at Nurenburg US army base, he was a POW (but i cannot find any record of that) but he said he was captured with a group of Italians and sent to a camp...he was not very forthcoming with any of his history
and trying to find information was difficult. The photos were scans by my mother...so not very clear
Thanks for any assistance....just hitting walls for information so far.

So maybe he wears uniform as an ex-POW.
The eagle badge looks like individually made.

    Hello Jannat12,

I was wondering if it would be worth writing to the Polish Army Records Centre, to see if they have any records for him.

    Central Military Archives,
