How about the edge? Do You have some photos?
I don't believe that I have any images from the side. Although in the case of the cross you posted a side view is not required as it is very obviously a cast replica when compared to the die stamped original.
Because both the Polish and French made originals were die stamped you should expect the sides to have the typical characteristics such as sharp well defined and uniform edges, along with parallel striations where surfaces were not subject to manual edge finishing.
