Hey guys. I came across this picture with this letter. Don't know if they go together. Could someone possibly translate the letter and see if it may have to do with the guy? There was nothing written on the back of the picture.

The other side of the note offers nothing as to identity of who written this note. Unless someone recognizes the soldier in the photo it will be impossible to tell.

    Hello Chris,

Adravor suggested the correct way of trying to identify him by his awards :

From Left to Right they are as follows :

    1) Bravery Medal

    2) Bravery Medal

    3) Karl Troop Cross

    4) Mobilization Cross 1912-1913

    5) Long Service Cross for N.C.O.'s

His Rank from what I can judge is Kapral

This field is not my Forte Chris, so if I have misidentified anything I am sure that some of the other Forum Members will correct me.

    Best wishes

    Andrzej

This isn't that big of a deal. I didn't know if something in the letter was important. I will just toss both. Thanks for the help.
