I came across the following Portraits whilst surfing the other day and thought that I would share them with you.
Pulkownik Henryk Brzezowski, Born 22nd April 1879, during the 1st World War he served as a Major in the Austrian Cavalry, after the establishment of the 2nd Republic he joined the Polish Forces and was made a Pulkownik on the 1st June 1919, in 1932 he was 18th in seniority.
By 1934 he was a Reservist Pulkownik living in Katowice and was listed as being 31st in Seniority.
He had been awarded the following awards :
Poland
1) Silver Cross of the Order Virtuti Militari Numbered : 3031
2) Cross of Valour with 2 Bars
3) Gold Cross of Merit
4) 1918-1921 War Commemorative Medal
5) 10th Anniversary of Independence Medal
6) 10 Years Long Service Medal
Romanian
7) Commander of the Star of Romania
He died in Kraków on the 24th October 1964.
Henryk Brzezowski Grave, he was promoted to General of Brigade posthumously on the 11th November 1969 by the Government in Exile in London.

Hello Everyone,
I came across the following this morning and thought that I would share it with you :
VM Legit Numbered : 6649, awarded to Sierz. Franciszek Styliński for bravery during WW1.
Born on the 16th July 1869, during WW1 he organized soldiers for the Legion and before the Russian Army came to Tarnow, left leading the last contingent, he joined the 5th Infantry Regiment and fought in the Battles at Konary, Ożarów and Tarłów where he was wounded.
He had three sons who also fought in the Polish Army : Jan born 7th January 1897, who rose to become a Major, Marian born in 1893 who was shot in Auschwitz on the 18th June 1942 and Stefan born in 1903. They also had a sister Zofia born in 1905.

For sale at this moment the following Silver Cross Virtuti Militari :
The Silver Cross Virtuti Militari Numbered : 8177 was awarded to Kapitan sap. Tadeusz Wasilewski, (later Major Dypl.) announced in Army Daily Orders 8th April 1922, Born on the 4th July 1893, he was also awarded the Cross of Valour with 2 Bars, Silver Cross of Merit, Cross of Merit of the Armies of Central Lithuania.
Promoted to Major on the 1st January 1928 and was listed 4th in Seniority.
