This Parachute group is for sale on eBay WW2 polish paratrooper medals and jump wings | eBay with an opening price of £2,975!!!!!

I don't like the jump wings. It just looks too good to be true.

Hi Stéphane, I am suspicious of this one. I prefer to see sharper edges to the eagle , and even some “smudginess” from the application of the paint through the stencil. This is a characteristic of known genuine examples. However, weathered and well-worn examples can take on this sort of “sprayed on” appearance. With the general rarity of surviving examples, and the multitude of fakes floating about, it’s another necessary case of being judged guilty until proven innocent. As always, a hands on inspection is required, although in the absence of solid provenance even that will not likely yield a definitive verdict. As a side note, the seller has a pair of repro Polish shoulder titles listed as genuine.

Two variations of the 6th Lwow Infantry Brigade, both attributed to producer S.E. Tietz of Tel Aviv.

3x Scarce WW2 Polish Airborne Tunic Collar Patches, consisting of an embroidered parachute infant

They are described as scarce and although they don't actually state original that is the implication.

I have my doubts.

I have my doubts.

Embroidered patch is OK. The most popular late variant.
Black and red patches were not used in the 1st Para Bde so it's a fantasy combination.

Left patch looks OK but both metal parachutists doesn't look good for me.
