Sold strong at over $1800 US. My gut feel on this set is good. No immediate red flags. The beret may be a private purchase or post war re-fit. The Carpathian Ulan piping looks spot on period. Looks like a set that has come out of the woodwork here in Canada. With the Tobruk badge it's a researchable BD.

During WW2 in the PAF in the UK there where 6 Jankowski's listed as Pilots, the most likely to me is the following :
Flight Sergeant (Plutonowy/Lance Sergeant) Stefan Jankowski, Service Number : 705558, Born on the 31st January 1920 in Krzemieniec, No Service details recorded or date of death, awards ML.
