The RAF chap - looks like he has a combat wound badge, horizontal light and dark blue stripes. He also wears his aircrew badges, can't quite see which type - possibly wireless operator. I think the brevet badge has the letter S for Signaller.
Ted
I think that under the combat wound badge is the caterpillar pin - could it be right?
Would you have an idea in what time period this photo was taken?
The uniform is pre-WW2 ?
Hello Teddybear,
Many thanks for your post, yes it does look to be an Irving Caterpillar Badge, and the photograph of Polish Troops is date wise 1944 or 1945.
Best wishes
Andrzej
Thank you so much!
Would you please help with this collar badge with two palm trees - any chance you know the regiment?
Maybe someone have this collar badge - it would be great to see a good image of it.
Hi guys!
Thank you very much for your photos of the badges!
Very informative.
Think that one of the soldiers on the photo is a winner of military medal.. not really sure...
