Hello Everyone,
A new book published 7th March 2018,
Anders Army by Evan McGilvray, Published by Pen & Sword Military,
isbn : 1473834112
isbn : 978-1473834118
Pages : 280
A shame that the cap badge shown on the front cover is the current Cap Badge worn by the Polish Army, also that the photograph on the front cover shows General Anders greeting soldiers of the 24PUL, 1st Armoured Division.
Best wishes
Andrzej
Pen and Sword, say no more.
The last two books from this author on the Polish armed forces in WW2 have been disappointing. Won’t bother with this one. Besides, the story of the 2nd Corps is more than well documented in extant books, including Norman Davies’ recent “Trail of Hope”, which I do recommend.
Regards,
Tony
