Looking for infotmation about my uncle Polishforces gen. Anders Edward Szczotka number soldier 30071528

Hello Oberschlesien45,

Many thanks for your post the 30071528 number was your uncles Polish Resettlement Number after being discharged from the Polish Army he joined the Polish Resettlement Corps for a length of 2 years to find employment in the UK after the war.

AT the end of the 2 years he was finally demobbed and became a civilian.

To find out more information you would need to obtain copies of his "Zeszyt Ewidencyjny" from the British Ministry of Defence they do charge for this service now, everything is explained on their website
