EDIT: C.M.T.C. - this abbreviation could be: Central Mediterranean Training Centre (CMTC) in Benevento

Maybe some other forum member knows what the abbreviation is.

I would agree with CMTC as Central Mediterranean Training Centre. There are some references in the UK National Archives as such, but the actual documents only available for viewing if visited.
