help needed for 2 pilot badges, Gaunt and Spink

Hi Bichon,

I've moved this thread to the appropriate forum.

The Gaunt wing looks OK. The other one is difficult to assess from these weak pictures, although it’s clear that the spinner is not a Spink product. Are better pictures available?

Hi,

I suppose that the help comes much too late in this case, but my feeling is that the "gapa" in the Spink case is actually a pre-war made Knedler badge. The spinner is likely a period replacement, but the badge looks fine - even in these rather poorly detailed pictures.
