With regards to Alojzy Górski, when awarded the Monte Cassino Cross his details were as follows :

Rank : Kapral (Corporal)

Surname : Górski

Christian Name : Alojzy

Date of Birth : 29th April 1913

Fathers Name : Marcin

Place of Birth : Bydgoszcz

Army Number : 1913-59-III

Unit : 1st Squadron 4th Armoured Regiment

Monte Cassino Cross Numbered : 29156

By the end of the war in Europe he had been promoted to Plutonowy (Lance Sergeant) and awarded the Bronze Cross of Merit with Swords.

That is all the information that I was able to glean both from the Register of the Monte Cassino Cross and the Regimental History.
