Looking for information & possible translation on WW2 Air Apprentice Technical School photos

I have a small collection of WW2 photos relating to Air Apprentice Technical School at RAF Halton 1943-48 and others that came in a lot with other mainly military related photos & ephemera.

Firstly I require help identifying the uniforms on the gentlemen in photo "image0000599A" and translation of the back "image0000599B"

Any help with translation on the annotations on "image0000640B" "image0000642B" "image0000652B" " image0000656B" would be greatly appreciated (respective fronts to the photos are "image0000640A" "mage0000642A" "image0000652A" "image0000656A" for context).
