Hi Andrzej,
Thank you for reply plus information - that is such a help - grateful!! I will hope to get pictures uploaded in due course no problem. Just one extra question please. Alongside, I also own a Cross of valour which I am confident was awarded to one of the recipients you have listed but unsure which. It isn't numbered as far as I can see but is there a way of determining an answer? All my best, Tomasz
Hello Tomasz,
Many thanks for your post, I have checked one site but nothing listed, your best bet would be to contact the British MoD they do charge for this service, their link is below :

Hi Andrzej,
My thanks, apologies if any confusion was made. It is a Polish issue cross of valor with date stamped 1920 on the front. It has always stayed with the other medals but I have no way of knowing for sure if it was awarded to the recipients you gave earlier. Its just one of life's little curiosities; perhaps it will always remain so :-)
All my best, Tomasz
Hello Andre Joubert 98. I am looking for information regarding my father’s Monte Casino Cross. I was wondering if you could help. He was a Tanker with the 2nd Polish Infantry Division, Corporal Piotr Migowski, born 1918, in Zurobice, pow Bialostockie. I have all his other medals but the Monte Casino Cross is missing. According to my brother it was lost. Krystyna
Hello Krystyna,
Many thanks for your post, I have checked the Register both M and N just in case of misspelling but without any luck.
The only way to confirm your Fathers Service in the 2 Polish Corps, would be to obtain a copy of his service record from the British Ministry of Defence, who charge for this service link is below and be sure to ask for copies of all records that they have on your Father. This will confirm what medals your Father received.
