The Monte Cassino Cross Numbered : 4126 when awarded the Recipients details were as follows :
Rank : Kapral (Corporal)
Surname : Dolecki
Christian Name : Zdzisław
Date of Birth : 25th December 1918
Army Number : (also found on His ID Tags) : 1918-80-III
Unit : 4BSK
By the end of the war he was still a kapral but was serving in the 9BSK, 3DSK.
His Fathers Name was Antoni, His Mothers Name was Feliksa (nee Lalkowska) by the age of 7 his Father died leaving his mother to bring up the Family of 7 Boys and 3 Girls. In 1937 he volunteered as a reservist in the 36PP and prior to the outbreak of war was a Border Guard.
That is all I was able to find on Zdzisław Doelcki for you Artur, I hope it helps.
