By the end of the war he had been awarded the Krzyż Walecznych (Cross of Valour) and had been moved to the 7PUL 2nd Squadron and promoted to Porucznik (Lieutenant).

Surname : Chruściel
Christian Name : Tadeusz
Date of Birth : 1922
Army Number : (also found on His ID Tags) : 1922-41-III
Unit : 9th Signals Company 2nd Armoured Brigade (Later Division)
After the end of the war Tadeusz Chruściel came to the UK with his Unit, he decided not to return to a communist ruled Poland, but instead to make a new life in England. In 1948 he married Patricia H Collins, Tadeusz Chruściel died in Sutton, Surrey on the 18th October 1986 aged 64, he was buried on the 28th October 1986.
