    Hi Konrad,

you said: "Sierżant Aleksander Gołębicki, Unit: 4th Battalion 3 DSK, MCC Nr: ??? - here is some riddle because he is not in the Register of the 3 DSK"

He does appear in the 3DSK register but with his name written:

GOŁĄBICKI Aleksander, 1917/33, sierż., 4. bn., VM 5 KW

    Hello Ted,

Yes you are correct in stating Sierz. Aleksander Gołąbicki is listed as Sierz. 1917-33-III, 4BSK, awarded the Monte Cassino Cross Numbered : 5047.

Then in the Virtuti Militari Register by Dr. Andrzej Suchcitz the VM Numbered : 10132 was awarded to Plut. Aleksander Gołębicki, I have also checked the Register compiled by Prof. Wesolowski he also has the same spelling of the Surname.

    Best wishes

    Andrzej

KAŁASKA Mieczysław, 1923/11, ppor., 1. bn., VM 5

KATOWICZ Andrzej, 1923/69, ppor., 3. bn. ckm., KW/2/
KATOWICZ Antoni, 1923/69, plut. pchr., 3. bn. ckm.
