Ppor. Bolesław Szejniuk, Born : 27th July 1920, Army Number : 1920-122-III, Unit : P4Panc., Date of Death : 17th July 1944, Monte Cassino Cross Numbered : 29033, also awarded the KW.

Army Number also found on His ID Tags) : 1919-8-III

Unit : 2 Karpacki Pułk Artylerii Lekkiej (2nd Carpathian Light Artillery Regiment)

Monte Cassino Cross Numbered : 1696

By the end of the war in Europe he had been promoted to Porucznik (Lieutenant) and was serving with the 1 Karpacki Pułk Artylerii Lekkiej (1st Carpathian Light Artillery Regiment and had been awarded the KW and the SKZzM.

Adam Polowiec emigrated to Australia and married Esma Smith (1917-1995), Adam Polowiec died in June 1985.



Por. Adam Polowiec in uniform clearly seen are the ribbons of the KW, SKZzM, MW, KMC, British 1939-45 Star, Africa Star, Italy Star.
