I would like to know some information regarding an Officer, most likely Recipient of the Monte Cassino Cross.
I have found his entries/signatures/stamps in my uncle's Officer's Pay Book who served at that time in the 24th Transport Company. However, in the middle of the pages there are stamps of the 21st Transport Company next to the entries of this Officer (May, June and September, October 1944). So I assume that this Officer was from the 21KT.
The Officer's name is Por. inż. Krzehlik - Oficer Gospodarczy
It is pretty strange that the entries in the booklet are from the 21st Transport Company and not from my uncle's mother unit, i.e. the 24th Transport Company. It would not be strange if the entries were from the 22nd Transport Company because the 22nd and 24th Companies worked together just like the 21st and 23rd also worked together.

Ppor. Intendentów Medard Józef Krzehlik, Born 28th April 1900 in Drohobycz, Father : Edward, Brothers : Klaudiusz (Plut.), Ryszard Edward (also a Ppor.), Józef, and their Sister : Janina.
Klaudiusz was born in Bochni
Ryszard Edward, Medard Józef, Józef and Janina were born in Drohobycz and Lwów.
Medard was by 1934 a Reservist who had been promoted to Podporucznik on the 1st July 1925, he is listed as being 36th in Seniority.
When serving in the 2nd Corps at Monte Cassino his details were as follows :
Rank : Porucznik
Surname : Krzehlik
Christian Name : Medard Józef
Date of Birth : 23rd April 1900 (although the Rocznik 1934 lists his date of Birth has being 28th April 1900).
Father's Name : Edward
Army Number : 1900-343-III
Unit : Dowództwo Oddziałów Zaopatrywania i Transportu 2 Korpusu.
Monte Cassino Cross Numbered : 43550.
