Hello Sławek,
I have searched for Mirosław Giecewicz in both databases of the Polish Institute of National Remembrance and the Polish Central Military Archives, but without any luck unfortunately.

Thanks Konrad for your time.
I bought the MCC No. 41390 in Słupsk. Looking for information, I found out that on April 28, 2021, another participant in the fight for Monte Cassino, strz. Władysław Lewandowski, MCC 8033, Army No. 1924-4-III, Unit: 5BSK, was said goodbye to at the Old Cemetery in Słupsk. He was 97 years old.
Walczył pod Monte Cassino u boku generała Andersa. Na słupskim cmentarzu pochowano Władysława Lewandowskiego | Głos Pomorza
His original MCC No. 8033 was sold on eBay in 2018 (post #2296, 2297). Perhaps the badges were deliberately swapped by the awardees. Let him be on the forum with the owner...
