Sold at a recent auction, MCC group.



MCC 9460. awarded to strz Boleslaw Nadolski . 1914/ 60/III 1 kompanii warsztatowa. 1st Workshop Company.

Not sure why there are two Cross of Valour, would have thought one and a bar ?

To save confusion for anyone thinking it may be Polish - the gold medal with the red ribbon one from the right is a Belgian WWI veteran's medal - 1909-1934 Les Vétérans du Roi Albert 1er.

Hello All

Up for sale on a popular Polish auction site, MCC 20385.



On the original MCC list number 20385 is listed as: Jerzy Nieprzocki.

On the Medal Wojska list he is listed as: Jerzy Nieprzecki. So not sure which spelling is correct.

He ended the war as a ogniomistrz / Artillery Sergeant.

Looking around the internet I found this medal group.



I am sure the medal on the left is the 1918-21 War medal ?

If he was born in 1913 I doubt he fought in that war, or maybe it was his Fathers medal ? .

The only Jozef Betka I could find in the Carpathian Division served in : 1 Komp.San. 1st Medical Company.3rd Carpathian Inf Div.

MCC 2728. Hopefully this is the same person.

MCC 47454 was awarded to : kpr Piotr Zieba. 1894/ 24/III. 12 Kompania Geograficzna.12th Geographic Survey Company.

MCC 33017 awarded to : bomb Jozef Wyszomirski. 1907/170/III. 7 Pulku.Artylerii Konnej.7th Horse Artillery Reg.2nd Corps Artillery.

MCC 48649 was awarded to : st.strz Jerzy Kwasiborski. 1922/209/III . Kwatera Glowna 2 Korpusu Polskiego Sztab.H.Q. 2nd Corps Staff

It was recently sold at DNW for £1600.
