At the time of the battle at Monte Cassino MCC 46886 was awarded to : ppor Franciszek Zielinski. 1913/146/III. 35 Kompania Warsztatowa. 35th Workshop Company.


You are correct with the connection with the Commando Company as is shown on the medal Wojska list

Recently shown on social media, MCC 30840 along with Legitymacja badges and medals.


This may have been shown on here before.






MCC 30840 awarded to : kpr Jozef Solski. 1919/319/III. 6 Pulk Pancerny Dzieci Lwowskich. 6th Lwowe Armoured Regiment.


Hopefully I am correct, Jozef was wounded in WWII, July 1944.


Jozef died in 1969 Canada.

MCC 5535 was awarded to : st.ulan Eric Jankowski. 1921/55/III. 12 P.Ul.Pod 12th Podolian Cavalry Reg(Recon).3rd Carpathian Inf Div.


I am surprised that even on the medal bar there is no Medal Wojska ?
