Question Monte Cassino crosses - ok?

    Hi all,

Hope everyone is having a cracking weekend. Would anyone care to give an opinion on these 2 Monte Cassino crosses? As far as I can see, both as the real deal (the 2nd one has a replacement ribbon... looks too new).

As always, would appreciate the knowledge of those wiser than me

Yes, we had a cracking weekend here, following a massive wind storm that hit yesterday afternoon. Trees down all around, like the one below which crushed two cars, and power knocked out all day. Very unusual for August.

Anyway, both crosses appears genuine, although I'd like a a straight on shot of the MC1. MC2 has a clean bill of health. You're correct, the ribbon on this one is a replacement.

    Regards,
    Tony
