Hi Guys, I was given this single photo by a friend of mine who knew of my interest in Polish Forces. My Polish is sadly none existant. But I think it is captioned "Scotland", followed by the mens names and date?
Cheers, Ade.

Ade,
Looks to be a photo from one of the survival courses run by the Poles.
Even though there's a black beret amongst the troops, these courses tended to be a "basic must" for the paratroopers.
The card actually says ... Scotland ... Cupar (Cupar Angus) 1942 .. which was right on top of the area used by the parachute Brigade.

Thanks Gary. Every little bit of info is useful
Cheers, Ade.
Hi Guys,
Minor additional detail is that the exact date is noted “15 Września” = September 15
The fellow in the British issue FS cap is a lance sergeant as marked on the left side of the cap and the shoulder straps. The cap eagle is clearly a wz.39 exile pattern, identifiable from the characteristic wingspread. Just below the straps you can just make out some early shoulder titles. Nice pic!

Tony
Hi Guys,
I have this photo of Polish cichociemni training (or paras) using some kind of mobile morse-telegraphy equipment? Any ideas on what type of equipment it is?
... I would say para's ... training in the Fife area circa 41-42.
. equipment looks to be a variation on the morse signalling lamp.

Being fairly new to this site, can anyone tell me whether there is interest in the posting of photos? I have a number of photos from my father which, if it is allowed and there is interest, I could scan and post them to the site.
Let me know what you all think and whether there is interest in that.

Yes, by all means post your photographs. We are always interested in seeing good high resolution scans of period images.

Tony
